  Registration is now CLOSED!

 

Late registrations must be completed in the main office at GHS from 1pm-3pm

and are not guaranteed to be processed in time for tryouts.

Late Registration will be viewed and processed in a first in/first out basis.

Spring sports offered at Golden HS include Baseball, Girls Golf, Boys Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse, Girls Soccer, Boys Swim/Dive, Girls Tennis, Track and Field. Boys Volleyball is available at different Jeffco schools locations

Boys Swim, Girls Golf  (Boys Volleyball)-1st day of tryouts/practices is Feb. 19th

 ALL other spring sports begin on February 26th. REGISTRATION DEADLINE extended to 8:00 am on February 17, 2024.

You will need to contact the coach for specific information regarding tryouts.

Registration must be complete and approved in order to try out. You must have a current in-person sports physical uploaded in order to complete the registration. The clearance process may take a couple of days so please do not wait until the last minute. If the athlete is not cleared to start on the first day then they will not be allowed to attend tryouts. If they miss tryouts then they may not be able to make it on the team. So please get your registrations done early.

Please know that only "in-person" physicals are accepted. No over the phone or virtual physicals can be accepted per CHSAA.

Online registrations MUST be completed, processed and approved prior to trying out.

*Additional forms required for non-attending athletes and athletes doing more than one sport in a season. You can find those listed under "Other Forms & Handbook" at the top of this page. Please contact the Athletic Office if you have a transfer or foreign exchange student. Incoming Freshman at the start of the school year are not considered transfer students.

Athletic Team Registration

 

To participate in any sport, athletes must have a current in -person ATHLETIC physical--Physicals are valid for 1 year.

If you are uploading a new physical please make sure the old physical gets deleted and the new one uploaded as the 1st file.

Athletic fee is $185 per sport, per student. All previous athletic fees must be paid in order to be cleared to start.

Payment due immediately after ‘try-out’ period: cash, check (made out to GHS), or credit/debit card (payable in Jeffco Connect fee payment system 24 hours after you receive the confirmation email)

You must have a Jeffco Student ID# to register.  If you do not have a Jeffco Student ID#, please contact the GHS Athletic office
